The northern section and coastline of this remote and undeveloped island in Western Port Bay are protected, covering two thirds of its area. French Island is an isolated and beautiful place that is not very famous like its neighbouring Phillip Island. However, it is special because it makes you feel like you are in a remote and untouched area even though you are close to a big city.
