Perhaps the most popular national park in Victoria, "The Prom" boasts the state's largest coastal wilderness area and is located at the southernmost point of mainland Australia. Its tranquil inlets, granite-strewn shores, and lush fern-filled forests attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every year, with no high-rise buildings in sight. The park's 130km coastline is surrounded by a rugged landscape of eroded granite peaks, cliffs, and mountains, as well as forests and fern gullies. A mix of sandy beaches, coastal dunes, intertidal mud flats, and swamps add to the diverse scenery.
