Wyperfeld National Park boasts vast expanses of natural beauty. The park's main attraction is a series of interconnected lake beds, fed by Outlet Creek, which is the northern extension of the Wimmera River. These lakes only fill up when Lake Hindmarsh, located south of Lake Albacutya, receives an overabundance of water from the Wimmera River. During rainfall, the semi-arid terrain is adorned with small desert plants that bloom from dormant seeds, covering the ground with clusters of vibrant flowers.
