Macedon Ranges

*** Mount Macedon Memorial Cross is closed for works from June to September 2025 *** This long and challenging day hike takes in the highlights of the Macedon Ranges – take on the steep climb to Mount Macedon’s summit, enjoy views from the Memorial Cross, traverse the base of Camel’s Hump, pass by Sanitorium Lake and summit Mount Towrong. Finish with a drink and a meal at Mount Macedon Hotel.
