McMahons Creek Goldfield

Setting off from the Yarra River, east of Warburton, you’ll cross the river on stepping stones and visit the Big Peninsula Tunnel. From here, the forested slopes of the Yarra Ranges beckon. You’ll continue your circuit into the hills, spotting remnants of the area’s mining past along the way.
