Signal Peak from Mt Abrupt Carpark

From Mt Abrupt Carpark, follow the trail towards Mt Abrupt and Signal Peak. The track climbs steadily through low forest, crossing old landslides. It winds beneath a rocky escarpment, passes through a tree-lined saddle, and then ascends the drier western slopes. The summit of Signal Peak, at 780m, offers rewarding views. Challenging steep sections, rock hopping, slippery surfaces and exposed rocky outcrops. 3-4 hours.
